Tom Schmitt

Tom is a seasoned financial executive with more than 30 years of expertise in leading financial strategies and operations at technology companies. He currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at VideoAmp.

Prior to joining VideoAmp, Tom was the CFO at FreeWheel.tv (Comcast) and Vice President of Finance for products and technology at Salesforce.com, where he oversaw an operating budget exceeding $1.2 Billion and led financial operations for the company’s R&D, Cloud Infrastructure, Product Management, internal IT, security and G&A organizations. Tom has also served as the Director of IT Finance at storage and data management solutions provider, NetApp.

Tom holds a BA in Economics from U.C., Berkeley, and an MBA in Finance from Golden Gate University.
