Clinical Innovation Lead at Curai Health

Daniel Rosenthal, MD MSc MPH has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Daniel started their career as an Internal Medicine Intern at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 2001. Daniel then pursued a Biomedical Informatics Fellowship at The Laboratory of Computer Science at Massachusetts General Hospital from 2002 to 2005, where they developed an automated system for tracking outpatient preventive medicine results.

In 2005, Daniel joined George Washington University for an Internal Medicine Residency, which they completed in 2007. During this time, they also served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at The GW Medical Faculty Associates.

In 2007, Daniel founded WardManager, a team-based patient management platform focused on care transitions and multidisciplinary collaboration. From 2016 to 2021, Daniel worked as a Health Analytics Consultant at Socially Determined, a DC-based startup focused on measuring the impact of social determinants of health for health systems and payors. In this role, they designed and implemented SDOH data products and helped articulate the relationship between SDOH, clinical care, and life sciences.

In 2022, Daniel joined Google as a Clinical Lead for an undisclosed duration. Daniel is responsible for leveraging their clinical expertise to contribute to Google's healthcare initiatives.

Currently, Daniel is poised to join Curai Health in 2023 as a Clinical Innovation Lead. The details of this role are yet to be specified.

Daniel Rosenthal, MD MSc MPH completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology at Duke University from 1993 to 1997. Daniel then pursued their medical education at the University of South Florida, where they obtained their MD degree from 1997 to 2001. Following their medical studies, they furthered their education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, earning a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Informatics from 2002 to 2005. During the same period, they also attended the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, where they earned a Master of Public Health degree in Clinical Effectiveness.
