Dr. Poonam Patel Vasani

Dr. Poonam Patel Vasani has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Dr. Poonam Patel currently holds the position of Lead, Provider Operations at Curai Health, where they are responsible for overseeing the operations of the healthcare technology company. Prior to this, they served as the India Operations Manager for Curai, Inc., where they played a key role in developing First Opinion, a telemedicine service.

Dr. Vasani has also worked as a Consultant Pain and Palliative Medicine at Columbia Asia Hospitals Pvt. Ltd., where they focused on managing patients suffering from chronic pain conditions and improving their quality of life. Dr. Poonam Patel has also served as the Director and Senior Consultant at Spinalogy Clinic Kalyaninagar, where they provided specialized care for patients with spinal and joint-related issues.

Furthermore, Dr. Vasani has experience as an Assistant Professor of Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology at Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Medical College, where they diagnosed and managed various chronic pain conditions using pharmacotherapy and interventions. Dr. Poonam Patel Vasani completed their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in Anaesthesia (Delhi University) from the University College of Medical Sciences, Delhi in 2010. Dr. Poonam Patel also obtained a Fellowship in Palliative Medicine from the Cipla Palliative Care and Research Centre in 2017. In 2016, they received a FIPM degree in Interventional Pain Medicine and a FPM degree in Pain Management from the Daradia Pain Foundation. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Calcutta Medical College in 2006.
