Erin Hayes

Erin Hayes has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Erin is currently the Director of Risk Management at Curana Health since September 2022. Prior to this, from September 2019 to September 2022, they worked as a Clinical Risk Manager at Central Maine Healthcare, where they played a key role in enhancing patient safety and improving adverse event reporting. From January 2015 to June 2019, they served as the Director of Risk Management at St. Mary's Health System, overseeing risk management activities and managing claims. Erin also has experience as a Quality Assurance and Regulatory Manager at Lighthouse Imaging Corporation from September 2013 to January 2015. Erin has worked as a Change Process Specialist at Alere Scarborough, Inc. in June 2013, and prior to that, as a QA/RC Design Control Coordinator at Alere from January 2008 to June 2013. Additionally, they have held research positions at the University of Southern Maine, Inverness Medical, and Binax, Inc. throughout their career. Erin Hayes has a strong background in risk management, patient safety, and quality assurance.

Erin Hayes holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Maine, which they obtained from 1997 to 2001. Erin also has various additional certifications, including End of Life Doula from the University of New England (obtained in 2023), Notary Public from the State of Maine (obtained in September 2023), Certified Professional in Patient Safety from the Certification Board for Professionals in Patient Safety (obtained in October 2021), Certification in Professional Healthcare Risk Management from the American Hospital Association (obtained in March 2018), Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) - US from the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (obtained in 2013), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from the University of Southern Maine (obtained in 2012), and CPI Certified Instructor -- Associate from the Crisis Prevention Institute (obtained in August 2021).
