Rhetta Ascari

Patient & Family Services Manager at CURE Childhood Cancer

Rhetta earned a degree in Early Childhood Education and has 19 combined years of teaching and administration. She taught several students who were diagnosed with childhood cancer and had a colleague who lost a son to the disease. During her involvement with these children and their families, she developed a passion for the mission and became a volunteer.

Rhetta joined CURE in 2014. She manages the Family Emergency Fund and coordinates the Open Arms dinner program, while also supporting all other Patient and Family Services programs and events. Serving patients and families is an enormous privilege to Rhetta, and she demonstrates this daily.
