Zeeshan Umar Awan

Zeeshan Umar Awan has extensive experience in the software engineering field. Zeeshan Umar is currently working at CureMD as a Principal Software Engineer since September 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Senior Software Engineer at CureMD from September 2021 to August 2022.

Before joining CureMD, Zeeshan worked at Avanza Solutions from 2015 to 2021. During their tenure at Avanza Solutions, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer from January 2019 to August 2021. Zeeshan Umar was responsible for working on Rendezvous (Middleware for Financial transactions) and Nimbus/Novus (ATM Controller). Zeeshan Umar also customized the software for client-specific needs for various banks such as HBL, MCB, NRSP, Finca FGB, Alizz Islamic Bank, and Ajman Bank.

Prior to their senior role, Zeeshan worked as a Software Engineer at Avanza Solutions from July 2015 to December 2018. In this role, they were responsible for developing and implementing Financial Middleware and ATM controllers that facilitated communication with various E-Payments channels and integrated different financial institutions.

From 2011 to 2015, Zeeshan Umar Awan attended the Punjab University College of Information and Technology. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science.
