William Daughton

Data Scientist at CureMetrix

William Daughton has worked in the field of science for over two decades. William began their career in 1997 as a Scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory. In 2004, they became an Assistant Professor at the University of Iowa, where they taught 5 different courses, mentored graduate students and developed a research program. In 2007, they returned to Los Alamos National Laboratory as a Scientist. In 2015, they joined CureMetrix as a Data Scientist. In this role, they have contributed to a series of patents and new products, such as cmTriage, cmAssist, and cmAngio.

William Daughton obtained their Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wyoming in 1991. William then went on to get their Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the same university in 1992. In the same year, they began their Doctor of Philosophy in Physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which they completed in 1997.
