Kyle Bauckman, PhD has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting from 2007, they worked at the University of Florida as a Lab Assistant until 2009. Following their time at the university, they joined Moffitt Cancer Center as a PhD Graduate Student, focusing on the role of iron in cell death mechanisms in ovarian carcinoma cell lines. Kyle worked in this position from 2009 to 2014. Additionally, from 2014 to 2017, Kyle served as a Postdoctoral Scholar at Washington University School of Medicine.
In 2017, Kyle took on multiple roles simultaneously. Kyle became an Editor for the American Research Journal of Pediatrics from March 2017 to March 2018. At the same time, they joined Oncotarget as an Editor from May 2017 to January 2021. During this period, they also served as a Senior Research Scientist at Nova Southeastern University for a brief period in March to June 2017.
In 2021, Kyle continued to expand their expertise by becoming the Channel Administrator and Deputy Editor for the Modern Medical Educator at Cureus. Currently, they hold multiple positions at Nova Southeastern University, including Assistant Dean for Curricular Affairs starting from October 2021, Associate Professor since July 2021, and previously as an Assistant Professor from June 2017 to June 2021.
Kyle Bauckman PhD received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Zoology/Animal Biology from the University of Florida, where they studied from 2006 to 2009. Following this, they pursued their doctoral degree and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Oncology and Cancer Biology from the University of South Florida, studying between 2009 and 2014.
