Gianluigi Pianta

Gianluigi Pianta has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies.

Gianluigi started their career at L'Oreal, where they held various roles from 1998 to 2005, including Supply Chain Manager and Director of Production. During this time, they focused on improving efficiency, managing budgets, and coordinating activities with commercial divisions.

Gianluigi then joined Italamec in 2005 as a Supply Chain Manager, where they implemented improvements in logistical activities, reduced inventory levels, and enhanced customer service.

From 2006 to 2009, Pianta worked at HT&L as a Direttore di Stabilimento, where they had responsibilities for production, logistics, and the financial performance of the facility. Gianluigi also reorganized production flows and activities.

Pianta then moved to Sanofi in 2009, where they held various procurement and supply chain roles until 2017, including Country Category Manager, Domain Head, and Site Performance Manager. Gianluigi contributed to cost optimization, lean performance, and the management of packaging, devices, and distribution.

In 2017, Pianta joined AMRI as the Director of Global Logistics. Gianluigi currently oversees global logistics operations for the company.

Throughout their career, Pianta has demonstrated a strong focus on supply chain management, procurement, logistics, and process improvement.

Gianluigi Pianta attended the SAA - School of Management at the Università di Torino from 1987 to 1989, studying Produzione e Logistica. Gianluigi also obtained the CSCP certification from APICS in 2021.
