Grant Carr

Grant Carr serves as the Vice President and Global R&D Drug Discovery Site Head at Curia, overseeing the development and performance of R&D Discovery sites across Massachusetts, New York, and California since April 2003. Previously, Grant Carr held the position of Sr. Director of Lead Discovery at Elitra Pharmaceuticals and was responsible for key technological developments in identifying essential genes in pathogenic bacteria, leading to multiple patents and the acquisition of Elitra by Merck. Additional experience includes a role as Director of Biology at Arris Pharmaceuticals and a scientific position at Ohmeda PPD / Anaquest. Grant Carr earned a D.Phil. in Biochemistry from Oxford University.
