Kerstin Hötzel

Kerstin Hötzel is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Administrator at the Registry of the Court and Lawyer Linguist at the Court of Justice of the European Union since September 2015. Prior to this role, Kerstin led the Brussels Office of the Academy of European Law (ERA) from September 2009 to August 2015, where responsibilities included representing ERA in Brussels and organizing topical seminars. Previous experience includes the role of Education Development Executive at RICS from February 2007 to September 2009, overseeing accreditation of property-related university courses and monitoring educational developments in Europe. Kerstin completed a legal clerkship with Land Baden-Württemberg from October 2004 to September 2006, which included placements at various judicial and legal institutions. Early career internships were undertaken at KPMG and PwC in Luxembourg. Kerstin holds an LLM in Community Law from the College of Europe and a law degree from Universität Trier, along with additional legal education at Universidad de Málaga.
