Ramy Sadek

Ramy Sadek has a wealth of experience in the field of audio signal processing. Ramy began their career in 2000 as a Research Assistant at the University of Utah, where they implemented real-time 3D fluid dynamics simulation systems and devised parallel processing solutions. In 2001, they moved to the University of Southern California as a Lead Software Engineer in Audio Research, providing technical leadership for a team of 6 and devising novel research programs for software infrastructure projects. In 2010, they joined Amazon Lab126 as a Senior Research Scientist in Algorithm Development, conducting R&D in Emerging Tech and secret projects. In 2015, they moved to Apple as a Senior Audio DSP Engineer. Finally, in 2022, they became a Principal Engineer at Curie AI.

Ramy Sadek has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Physics from Oberlin College. Prior to that, they studied Computational Geometry, Computer Science, and Computer Graphics at the University of Southern California. Ramy also attended the Georgia Institute of Technology and the University of Utah, where they studied Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, and Scientific Computing.
