Elisabeth Conroy

Elisabeth Conroy has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Elisabeth most recently worked as an Associate Counsel at Curinos starting in September 2022. Prior to this, they were an Attorney at the NYC Department of Education's Office of General Counsel from April 2021 to September 2022. Elisabeth also has experience in the art world, having worked as an Art Law Course Assistant at Sotheby's Institute of Art from September 2015 to September 2022. Elisabeth collaborated with professors, graded exams, lectured on the business of art law, and conducted seminars with students. Elisabeth also worked as an Associate at Edward W. Hayes, P.C. from August 2013 to April 2021, providing transactional support to businesses and counseling employers on various legal issues. Elisabeth gained experience as a Student Attorney at the Securities Arbitration Consumer Clinic at Syracuse University College of Law in 2012. Additionally, Elisabeth worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Judith Prowda at Sotheby's Institute of Art from 2011 to 2013, editing and cite-checking legal material. Elisabeth also held positions as a Summer Associate at Edward W. Hayes P.C. in 2012, conducting legal research and drafting court documents, and at MURRAY FRANK LLP in 2011, conducting fact investigations and drafting legal memoranda. Earlier in their career, Elisabeth worked as a Paralegal at Chaves & Perlowitz, LLP in 2009, assisting with real estate closings, and as a Gallery Assistant at Eli Klein Fine Art in 2008.

Elisabeth Conroy obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Art History from Syracuse University, which they completed in 2008. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Art Business at Sotheby's Institute of Art, completing it between 2008 and 2009. Later, from 2010 to 2013, they attended Syracuse University College of Law, where they obtained a Juris Doctorate degree.
