Barbara Grimsley

Barbara Grimsley has extensive work experience in various roles related to lean transformation, manufacturing operations, and process improvement. Barbara is currently working as a Lean Transformation Practitioner at NEXT LEVEL Partners® LLC, starting in September 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President of Manufacturing at Curio Wellness since December 2020, and before that, they worked as the Director of Manufacturing Operations at the same company from April 2020 to December 2020.

Barbara also has significant experience with lean implementation and process improvement, having worked as a Lean Practitioner at NEXT LEVEL Partners® LLC from 2013 to 2020. In this role, they provided hands-on coaching and implemented lean practices in various industries including manufacturing, services, hospitals, banks, and hospitality and gaming. Their projects included areas such as factory design, supply chain optimization, new product development, and process optimization.

Prior to their role at NEXT LEVEL Partners® LLC, Barbara worked as the Global Operations and Engineering Director at Bausch + Lomb from 2005 to 2013. In this position, they had global responsibilities for operations and quality, supporting various business units and implementing lean manufacturing methods across multiple factories.

Barbara's earlier work experience includes roles at Eastman Kodak Company, where they served as the Kodak Operating System Technical Director for the first digital camera factory in the US. Barbara also worked as a Quality Programs Manager for Entertainment Imaging, focusing on improving customer loyalty. Additionally, they worked as a Six Sigma Specialist at Eastman Kodak Company.

Barbara Grimsley completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Quality and Applied Statistics from Rochester Institute of Technology between 1990 and 1992. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Nazareth University.
