Kara Batchelder

Kara Batchelder has a diverse work experience that includes roles in various industries. Kara started their career as a Chiropractic Assistant at Annapolis Pain Management, LLC from October 2017 to September 2019. Kara then transitioned to TNT Jewelers, where they worked as a Manager/Executive Sales Representative from July 2015 to October 2020. Most recently, Kara joined Curio Wellness in October 2020 as a Harvest Technician II, responsible for cannabis production. Kara rapidly progressed in the company, becoming an Applied Science Technician II in August 2021, where they maintained a genetic library of over 150 Cannabis cultivars and conducted research to improve cannabis production. Currently, Kara holds the position of Applied Science Team Lead starting from October 2023.

Kara Batchelder completed their Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Horticultural Science & Sustainability at Oregon State University from 2021 to 2026. Before that, they obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Chesapeake College from 2013 to 2020. Additionally, they pursued studies in Gemology at the Gemological Institute of America from 2016 to 2020. Kara also holds a high school degree in Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies from North Caroline High School from 2009 to 2013. Kara has a certification in Spanish from Chesapeake College.
