John Styring

John Styring is an experienced executive with a strong background in the publishing industry. Currently serving as CEO of Curious Universe UK since November 2017, John has previously held key positions including Chief Executive Officer at IglooBooks Ltd from March 2004 to August 2016, Trade Sales Director at Parragon from January 1999 to January 2004, and Head of Funfax Sales at Penguin Books from October 1995 to January 1999. John’s professional journey also includes a consultancy role from August 2016 to July 2017. Educationally, John holds a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature from Newcastle University, completed in 1995, and completed GCSEs at Honley High from 1984 to 1991.
