Eirik Hernes Berre has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2008, they held various positions across different companies until 2014. In 2015, they worked as a Youth Ambassador in Mozambique for Norec. Eirik joined BearingPoint in 2019 as a Summer Intern, where they developed a KPI dashboard for a large Norwegian bank. Also in 2019, they co-founded Curipod and served as the COO. At the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Eirik had multiple roles from 2019 to 2020, including teaching assistant for Advanced Econometrics and Taxation, Behavior, and Economic Policies. Eirik Hernes was also a board member and student representative for the Department of Economics during this time.

Eirik Hernes began their academic journey at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in 2015, where they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in the field of Business and Administration in 2018. In 2018, Eirik continued their academic pursuits at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Eirik Hernes first embarked on a Bachelor Courses program in the field of Informatics, where they dedicated their studies till 2019. Subsequently, they joined the same institution to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Economics and Econometrics. Eirik Hernes successfully completed this program in 2020.
