Jonathan Holman-Rohwer

Jonathan Holman-Rohwer has extensive work experience in the banking and finance industry. Jonathan is currently serving as the Director of Transformation - Strategic Change & Enterprise Architecture (Focus on Open Finance) at Central Bank of The UAE since June 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Investor & Chief Operating Officer at Overlay Payments since February 2022. In 2020, Jonathan worked as the Chief Examiner & Visiting Scholar at The London Institute of Banking & Finance. Jonathan has also served as the Chief Operating Officer (Interim) at Alvin, Consultant in Digital Transformation at TransferMate Global Payments, AIB, and SG Kleinwort Hambros, and as the Executive Advisor & Chief Strategy Officer at tomato pay. From 2019 to 2022, Jonathan held the position of MD, Head of Digital - SME, Commercial & Corporate Banking at Santander UK, where they implemented digital strategies and led a team that delivered design thinking and digital transformation across various banking divisions. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Transformation - Client Management Services at Santander Global Corporate Banking from 2018 to 2019.

Jonathan Holman-Rohwer's education history includes several qualifications in the field of banking and engineering.

From 2015 to 2018, Jonathan pursued a Master's Degree in Banking Practice and Management at The London Institute of Banking & Finance. In 2011 to 2013, they completed a Professional Diploma in Banking Practice & Management (PDipBPM) at the same institution. Prior to that, from 2010 to 2011, Jonathan obtained a Professional Certificate in Banking (PCertB) also at The London Institute of Banking & Finance.

In terms of engineering, Jonathan attended Brunel University London from 2005 to 2008, where they received a BENG Hons degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Regarding additional certifications, Jonathan became an Accredited Trainer from The London Institute of Banking & Finance in June 2023.

Jonathan also completed the APM Project Fundamentals Certificate offered by the Association for Project Management (APM) in 2016.

Furthermore, during their secondary education at County Upper School - Bury St Edmunds from 2000 to 2005, Jonathan completed their GCSE and A Level qualifications.
