Alejandro Vélez-Calderón

Alejandro Vélez-Calderón has worked in the software engineering field since 2012. Alejandro'sfirst role was a Test Automation Engineer Intern at Nationwide from 2012 to 2015. Alejandro then worked as a Developer, Senior Developer, and Tech Lead at Nationwide from 2015 to 2018. From 2018 to 2019, Alejandro worked as a Software Engineer at irth Solutions. Since 2019, they have been a Senior Software Engineer at Beam Benefits, where their day-to-day responsibilities include creating and maintaining tools that reduce toil and encourage scalability. In 2022, they will become a Senior Software Engineer at Curology.

Alejandro Vélez-Calderón obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from The Ohio State University between 2010 and 2014. In 2018, they obtained a CSM certification from the Scrum Alliance.
