Socrates Duarte

Socrates Duarte has a solid work experience, starting in 2001 as an Analyst at Fundação de Apoio Universitário - FAU. Socrates then worked as an Analyst at Treynet Digital from 2003 to 2007 and at SWB Soluções Integradas from 2007 to 2010. Socrates joined Swge Sistemas in 2004 as a Senior Analyst and remained there until 2020. In 2020, they worked as a Freelance Developer at Workana and later joined JoinTech as a Senior PHP Developer until 2021. Socrates then worked at CoBlue as a Senior Software Developer until 2022. After that, they joined Barkyn as a Senior Backend Engineer, where they implemented Custom Weight subscription plans and worked on various projects until 2022. Socrates then worked as a Senior Backend Engineer at bolao.top from 2022 to 2023, partially as a part-time role. Currently, they are working as a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Curotec, where they are leading a project to design, implement, and deploy a solution for managing customers' subscriptions and bills. Socrates is utilizing Laravel 10, FE Blade + Tailwind, MySql, Vapor, and integrating with various systems such as QuickBooks, Stripe, TaxCloud, and an internal system called Maestro.

From 1993 to 1999, Socrates attended the Universidade Federal de Uberlândia - UFU, where they pursued a degree in Ciência da Computação (Computer Science).

Following that, from 2004 to 2009, they continued their education at the same institution, the Universidade Federal de Uberlândia - UFU, earning a Bachelor's degree in Ciências Contábeis (Accounting Sciences).

Most recently, from 2021 to 2022, Socrates attended the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, where they completed a post-graduate specialization in Ciência de Dados (Data Science).
