Arpan Ghosh

Arpan Ghosh has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and analytics. Arpan currently serves as the Head of Data Science at Currencies Direct, where they focus on implementing machine learning and deep learning solutions for decision making. Prior to that, they worked as the Associate Director of Data Science and Analytics at KPMG India, where they led the data science and analytics practice across the Pan India and Middle East region. Arpan has also held positions as the Lead Data Science and Analytics at Nippon Life India Asset Management and the Manager of Big Data and Analytics at Sony Pictures Networks India. Arpan's career also includes roles at Accenture, Molecular Connections Pvt. Ltd, and Jubilant Biosys Limited, where they gained experience in software engineering, scientific analysis, and research.

Arpan Ghosh has a diverse education background. Arpan completed their Masters and Diploma in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resource Management and Marketing Management from Annamalai University from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they pursued their MSc in Biochemistry from Bangalore University between 2005 and 2007.

Arpan also holds a Bachelor of Science degree and an Arts degree from M.S Ramaiah College. During their time there from 2002 to 2007, they majored in Microbiology for their Bachelor's degree and pursued Biochemistry for their Master's degree.

In addition to their formal education, Arpan has also obtained several certifications. Arpan became an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner through Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2022 and achieved the AWS Cloud Master designation from iNeuron.ai in February 2022. Arpan also completed Machine Learning with Python course offered by IBM in April 2019. In the same year, they obtained certifications in Machine Learning and Python for Data Science from Google and IBM, respectively. Furthermore, Arpan holds a certification in Big Data Hadoop Developer from TACT, obtained in January 2018. Arpan'searliest certifications include SAS Certified Administration and SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9, both achieved in 2013 from SAS.
