Alexey Astapov, CFA

Alexey Astapov, CFA, has worked in a variety of roles in the finance industry. From 2019 to present, they have been the CFO of Currency.com. From 2013 to 2019, they were the CFO of beCloud. From 2006 to 2013, they were a Senior Equity Analyst at Gazprombank. From 2005 to 2006, they were a Research Assistant at The Beacon Hill Institute at Suffolk University. From 2004 to 2005, they were a Manager at the Structured Finance Department of ОАО "БПС-Сбербанк".

Alexey Astapov, CFA obtained their Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Finance from Belarusian State Economic University between 1996 and 2001. Alexey then attended Cape Cod Community College from 2000 to 2002, where they obtained an Associate of Science degree with Honors in Accounting. From 2003 to 2004, they took selective graduate courses in Economics at McGill University - Faculty of Arts. In 2005 and 2006, they obtained a Master of Science degree with Honors in International Economics from Suffolk University. In 2018, they became a Chartered Financial Analyst through the CFA Institute, and is a candidate for the GARP FRM Program.
