Maria Yasevich

Maria Yasevich has over six years of experience in the finance industry. Maria began their career in 2015 as a Junior Internal Auditor at Альфа-Банк (Беларусь). Maria was promoted to Internal Auditor in the same company before moving to MTBank in 2018. At MTBank, Maria held the roles of Lead Internal Auditor and Internal Audit Manager. Most recently, Maria was hired as an IT Compliance Manager at Currency.com in 2021.

Maria Yasevich completed a Bachelor's degree in Programmer from IBA Institute between 2018 and 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economist analyst from Belarusian State University between 2011 and 2016. Maria also has four additional certifications: Optimization of the Company's Business Processes from EY Academy of Business in December 2019, Information security from ИТ-Академия Белхард in February 2019, ICA Certificate in KYC and CDD from International Compliance Association in September 2018, and Желтый пояс Лин Шесть Сигм from Университет Лин Шесть Сигм in July 2018. Additionally, they are currently in the process of obtaining an ISO/IEC 27001 Implementer certification from PECB which is expected to be completed in June 2022.
