Susan Oliver Nelson

Susan Oliver Nelson is an experienced copywriter and freelance reporter currently associated with Current Media Group LLC and The New Falcon Herald. As a co-founder of OutsidetheGate.org, Susan focuses on connecting military communities with local businesses. In additional roles as a digital producer for IBT Media and a military community reporter for the Washington Examiner, Susan has established a robust background in journalism. Previous positions include associate editor at Contemplative Journal, contributor roles at Yahoo and The Chiefly, and manager of library services at GeoScienceWorld. Susan holds degrees in English from Saint Leo University and Consumer Finance from The University of Dallas.
