Matthias Gasten

Matthias Gasten has a diverse work experience in various companies. Matthias currently holds the position of Head of Project Procurement & Claim Management at Currenta GmbH & Co. OHG since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Uniper where they held multiple roles such as Functional Head of Procurement - Renewables & Projects from 2016 to 2022, Functional Head of Project Procurement, Claim Management & Engineering Services from 2018 to 2021, and Global Category Manager - Projects and Global Category Manager - Hydro in 2017 and 2016 respectively. Before joining Uniper, they worked at Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Europe as a Lead Buyer from 2014 to 2016 and at Doosan Lentjes as a Student Employee from 2012 to 2014. Matthias began their career as a Dual Student at Enrichment Technology Ltd from 2010 to 2012.

Matthias Gasten completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Management at FHDW Bergisch Gladbach from 2009 to 2012. Matthias then pursued a Master of Science in Supply Chain Management at SRH Hochschule für Logistik und Wirtschaft, Hamm from 2012 to 2014.
