Oliver Franz

Oliver Franz has extensive work experience in finance and controlling roles. Oliver is currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Head of Controlling at Currenta GmbH & Co. OHG since January 2022. Prior to this, they held various positions at Outokumpu, including Vice President and Head of FP&A, Managing Director of Outokumpu Stainless Holding GmbH, and Vice President and Head of BA Europe Controlling. Oliver also served as Director and Head of BA Americas Controlling and Manager of PMO - Financial Integration and Harmonization at Outokumpu. Oliver Franz started their career at thyssenkrupp as a Manager of Controlling & Strategy from April 2011 to December 2012. Oliver began their professional journey at PwC as a Consultant and later as a Senior Consultant in Financial Due Diligence.

Oliver Franz attended the University of Bayreuth from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a degree in Diplom-Kaufmann with a focus on Betriebswirtschaftslehre (Business Administration). Before that, from 2004 to 2005, they briefly studied at Universidad Nebrija. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2004, they attended the University of Duisburg-Essen and obtained a Vordiplom degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften (Economics).
