Alex Hurst is currently working as the Head of Customer Success at CurrentWare Inc. Prior to this, they have had significant work experience at Shopify, where they held various leadership roles. Alex started as a Customer Success Specialist and gradually progressed to become a Support Team Lead, Support Lead, Shopify Plus Support Lead, Sr. Lead of Support Operations - Canada, Ireland, and Global Support, and finally, the Product Research Lead. During their time at Shopify, they demonstrated strong leadership skills and performed exceptionally well in driving customer satisfaction and achieving business goals. Before joining Shopify, Alex owned a business called Flagship Branding and co-founded Import Beer Club.

Alex Hurst received a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Marketing from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa from 2009 to 2012.
