Currey Ingram Academy
Meg Dunavant is an experienced educator currently serving as an Upper School English Teacher at Currey Ingram Academy since April 2021. Prior to this role, Meg worked as a Graduate Teaching Associate at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where responsibilities included teaching first-year composition courses and providing tutoring support at the Judith Anderson Herbert Writing Center. Additional experience includes an editorial internship at Charleston Home + Design Magazine, a real estate services internship at CBRE, and volunteer tutoring of English language for a Spanish citizen during study abroad. Meg holds a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in English Literature and Spanish Language from the College of Charleston.
