Amber Carroll Tyrell

Amber Carroll Tyrell has a diverse work experience in the field of Human Resources. Amber started their career as a Human Resources Intern at ViSalus in 2012 and eventually became an HR Coordinator and HR Administrator, where they were responsible for various HR functions such as payroll processing, benefit administration, employee relations, and onboarding activities.

In 2015, Amber joined Flipagram as an HR Generalist and later became an HR Manager. At Flipagram, they contributed to the app's growth by creating and sharing compelling visual stories.

Amber then transitioned to NextRoll, Inc. in 2017, where they held roles as a People Operations Manager and later as a Sr. People Operations Manager. During their time at NextRoll, Amber was involved in various HR projects such as maintaining HRIS tools, implementing company-wide goal-setting processes, owning people analytics dashboard, managing global immigration, and policy creation and implementation.

Most recently, Amber worked at Zencastr as a Director of People from 2021 to 2023, and they are currently serving as the Director of People at Curri.

Amber Carroll Tyrell has a B.A. degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Amber also holds a High School Diploma from Arcata High. Additionally, they have attended Universite de Bordeaux and UC Center- Paris, but it is not specified if they obtained any degrees from these institutions.
