Don Woodard has a long and varied work experience. Don began their career in 2001 as a Barista/Shift Supervisor at Starbucks. In 2003, they began working as a Freelance Illustrator for Red Farm Studio. In 2006, they worked as a Website Development/Graphic Artist for both Graber-Rogg and Martec Access. Don also worked as an Art Teacher at Spring Lake Day Camp in the same year. In 2007, they worked as an Expert Event Operator for Intercall. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as an Assistant Teacher at Windsor Schools. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer for Lynx Corporation and then as a Production Artist and Designer/Illustrator for Curricula.

Don Woodard attended William Paterson University of New Jersey from 2002 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Illustration. Additionally, they attended Joe Kubert Art School from 2000 to 2001.
