Maura Piazza is an experienced education professional with a strong background in instructional design and content development. Currently serving as a Supervising Editor and Senior Instructional Designer at Curriculum Associates since October 2011, Maura specializes in creating and enhancing instructional materials to foster student growth. Previous roles include Independent Consultant at AdLit PD & Consulting, where Maura co-authored technical reports, and an intern at CAST, focusing on digital literacy tools for young children. Maura's prior experience includes positions at Pearson, Baseline Development Group, and Plymouth Public Schools, where skills in curriculum alignment, educational editing, and differentiated instruction were honed. Maura holds a Master’s degree in Language and Literacy from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature/Secondary Education from Roger Williams University.
