Michael von Korff

Michael Von Korff is an experienced professional in the field of mathematics education, currently serving as Associate Director of Math Products at Curriculum Associates since April 2018. Previously, Michael held various roles at Reasoning Mind from September 2012 to February 2018, including Product Support Manager, Project Manager, Knowledge Engineering Manager, Knowledge Engineer Team Lead, and Knowledge Engineer. Michael's responsibilities encompassed interfacing between product developers and various teams, managing cross-functional projects, and designing curricula for a wide range of grade levels. Michael earned a Ph.D. in Pure Mathematics from the University of Michigan, where teaching and original research in algebraic geometry were integral components of the academic experience. Michael also holds a BA in Mathematics from Harvard University and participated in Mathcamp Canada/USA. Additionally, a summer adjunct position at the Center for Communications Research involved collaboration on cryptanalysis problems using advanced programming skills.
