Lorenzo Fusi

Chief Curator & Curator of Contemporary Art at Currier Museum of Art

Lorenzo Fusi is an experienced art curator currently serving as the Chief Curator at the Currier Museum of Art since January 2023. Prior roles include Artistic Director and Chief Curator at the Yerevan Biennial Art Foundation from October 2019 to January 2023, as well as Artistic Director for the Yerevan Biennial in 2020-2021. Fusi has held the position of Visiting Academic Curator at Illingworth Kerr Gallery from January 2016 to October 2019 and served as Artistic Director at the Fondation Prince Pierre de Monaco from April 2014 to October 2019. Additional experience includes directing the Open Eye Gallery and functioning as the International Curator for the Liverpool Biennial of Contemporary Art Ltd. Fusi began the career as the Contemporary Art Curator at Santa Maria della Scala Museum Hub and served as Senior Curator at Palazzo delle Papesse Contemporary Art Centre. Lorenzo Fusi holds a degree from Università di Siena, where education was completed from 1987 to 1993.
