Julian Clark has extensive experience in the biomedical industry. Julian has been the Managing Director of Squizzical Pty Ltd since 2019, providing biomedical development and commercialisation strategy services. In 2021, they became a Non Executive Director of Currus Biologics Pty Ltd, a company that is developing its proprietary technology to enable the use of CAR-T cell therapies for the treatment of solid tumours. Julian has also been a Non Executive Director of UniQuest since 2019, and a Director of Catalyst Therapeutics Pty Ltd, Cancer Trials Australia Pty Ltd, BioGrid Australia Limited, and BACE Therapeutics Pty Ltd since 2012, 2008, 2009, and 2009 respectively. In addition, they were the Head of Business Development at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute from 2002 to 2012, and has been the Director of Julian Clark Consulting Pty Ltd since 1999. Julian is currently the Chair of Adelaide Biomed City since 2022.
Julian Clark obtained a BSc (hons) in Genetics from Flinders University between 1969 and 1972. Julian then went on to pursue a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Glasgow, which they completed in 1976.
