Krista Coppaway

Krista Coppaway serves as the Environmental Coordinator for Curve Lake First Nation since September 2009, where responsibilities include the development and implementation of the Community Environmental Sustainability Plan and support for the Land Use Plan. Previous roles at Curve Lake First Nation encompass Communications/Community Engagement Officer and Lands Resource Consultation Liaison, focusing on effective communication, community engagement, and consultation protocols. Additionally, Krista's experience includes positions as a Species at Risk Researcher at Curve Lake First Nation, Aboriginal Traditional Resource Technician at Plenty Canada, Horticulture Worker at Ground Covers Unlimited, Fisheries Technician at Anishinabek/Ontario Fisheries Resource Centre, and Hatchery Manager at Linwood Acres Trout Farms Ltd. Krista holds a diploma in Fish & Wildlife from Fleming College, earned between 2005 and 2006.
