Phyllis Williams has a strong professional background, with experience in various leadership and management roles. From 2008 to 2010, they worked as an Office Manager at the Ontario Federation of Indian Friendship Centres, where they handled human resources administration and oversaw IT operations. Additionally, they managed a team of executive and administrative assistants and was responsible for office management and maintenance.

In 2010, Phyllis joined the Curve Lake First Nation, initially serving as the Manager of Health & Family Services.
