David Nguyen, P.E. is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in HVAC systems design and project management. Currently serving as Senior Design/Principal Engineer at Custom Air Products & Services, Inc. since January 2014, David specializes in the design, construction, installation, and servicing of industrial and commercial air conditioning equipment. Prior to this role, David was the VP of Engineering at Safe-T-Cool, Inc. from February 2003 to December 2014, where responsibilities included heat load calculations, coil selections, and the design of HVAC systems compliant with UL 1995. Earlier in David's career, project management experience was gained at Shell Vietnam Ltd. from February 1995 to September 2001, overseeing engineering projects for a chemical plant. Academic qualifications include a BSET in Chemical Engineering from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, an HVAC Servicing Certificate from Lone Star College, and a CompEX Ex12 qualification in Explosive Atmosphere - Application Design.
