Valerie Traverzo

Valerie Traverzo has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Valerie began their career at Custom Computer Specialists in 1998, starting as a Manager in Support Services. In this role, they successfully managed and developed a team of on-site staff while providing exceptional customer service to clients. After twelve years in this position, Valerie transitioned to the role of Senior Manager in Sales Operations, where they specialized in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and sales enablement. Valerie'sresponsibilities included coordinating proposal development, managing contract renewals, and streamlining business processes through CRM implementation. In 2017, Valerie was promoted to Director of Talent Acquisition at Custom Computer Specialists, overseeing all aspects of talent acquisition including onboarding, performance management, and training and development. Most recently, they assumed the role of Director of Human Resources in August 2020, where they collaborated with business leaders to develop and implement people strategies aligned with organizational goals. In addition to their work at Custom Computer Specialists, Valerie also served as the Compuram Store Manager at Fordham University, where they successfully planned and coordinated marketing events and increased sales by 150%.

Valerie Traverzo holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Hofstra University. Valerie also has a pending Master of Science (MS) degree from St. Joseph's University New York.

In terms of certifications, Valerie has obtained the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in January 2022. Valerie also holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in July 2013. Valerie has additional certifications, including the HDI Help Desk Manager Certification, the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from the Council for Service Management Education, and the Salesforce.com Certified certification.
