Philippe Baeten

Philippe Baeten is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Group Legal Counsel and Group DPO at Customer Collective since September 2021. With a career spanning several decades, Philippe has held roles including DPO and Legal Counsel at Var, and has been a legal counsel for Quanteus Group and PFS. Philippe is also the Founder and CEO of QILMAC and has served as a judge at the Nederlandstalige ondernemingsrechtbank Brussel. Additionally, Philippe is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals and GUBERNA, and co-founded SECUNEWS, a nonprofit organization focused on specialized content. Philippe holds a Master’s in Law from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and a Master’s in Criminology from Ghent University.
