Jessie John Velasquez

Jessie John Velasquez has a long and diverse work experience in the finance and accounting industry. Jessie John currently holds the position of Executive Vice President - Chief Accounting Officer at Customers Bank since May 2021, prior to which they served as the Senior Vice President - Chief Accounting Officer from April 2020 to May 2021.

Before joining Customers Bank, Jessie worked at Webster Bank from September 2018 to March 2020 as the Senior Vice President and Head of Accounting Policy and External Reporting.

Prior to that, they worked at Customers Bank from April 2017 to August 2018 as the Senior Vice President and Deputy Chief Accounting Officer.

Jessie John also gained valuable experience at Santander Bank, N.A., where they worked from February 2012 to March 2017 as the Senior Vice President and Head of Accounting Policy, and prior to that as the Vice President and Director of Accounting Policy from February 2012 to August 2012.

Before their time at Santander Bank, Jessie worked at Brandywine Realty Trust as a Financial Reporting Manager from June 2009 to February 2012.

Their career started at Ernst & Young, where they served as an Assurance Manager from April 2005 to June 2009.

Jessie's early professional experience includes working as a Senior Auditor at SGV & Co. - Ernst & Young Philippines from January 2002 to November 2004.

Jessie John Velasquez completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy at the University of the Philippines in 2001.
