Christian Happel has over twenty years of professional experience. In 2022, they began working as the Principal Product Operations for Customs4trade. Prior to this, they were employed at SAP from 2005 to 2021, where they held various roles such as Senior Director of Product Management - SAP Analytics Cloud, Senior Director of Product Management, Senior Director of Product Management - Enterprise Collaboration Products, Director Product Management - Enterprise Collaboration Products, Director Business Operations & Strategy - SAP Jam, Director Business Operations - Cloud Unit, Director Business Development, HANA Partner Ecosystem & Engineering, Director Product Management SAP Business ByDesign, and Solution Management SAP Business ByDesign. Before joining SAP, Christian Happel worked at SEW Eurodrive from 1998 to 2005 as a Strategic Purchaser.

Christian Happel obtained their Diplom in Wirtschaftsingeneur (BA) / Business Engineering from Berufsakademie Stuttgart from 1998 to 2001. Christian also holds a certification from SAP as SAP Trainer of the Year 2020 - SAP Development Learning, which they obtained in March 2021.
