Asanka Herath

Asanka Herath has worked for a number of companies since 2014. Asanka began their career as a Software Engineering Intern at WSO2 in 2014. Asanka then moved on to become a Visiting Lecturer at Matrix Institute of Information Technology (Pvt) Ltd in 2016. That same year, they also began working at Zone24x7, where they held the roles of Associate Technical Lead, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer. In 2017, they took on a Visiting Lecturer role at the University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka. In 2018, they were a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Ruhuna. Most recently, they have been a Senior Engineer at Cut+Dry since 2020.

Asanka Herath attended the University of Moratuwa from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bsc (Hons) in Information Technology. Asanka then went on to pursue an MSC in Advanced Software Engineering at the University of Westminster from 2019 to 2020.
