Mark Hunt

Director of Compliance at Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority

Mark Hunt, Director of Compliance of CMHA, brings nearly 20 years of housing experience to his team. As Director of Compliance, Hunt is responsible for ensuring CMHA aligns with all federal, state, local and internal policies and procedures. He manages such functions as conflict-of-interest disclosures, Labor Compliance, Davis-Bacon monitoring and enforcement and the HCVP Hearing Officer program. Additionally, he handles general compliance matters such as quality control, annual training and policy/procedure development.

Prior to his promotion to Director of Compliance, he was an Employee Relations Specialist and Director of Human Resources and he worked in Safety Management. Before joining CMHA, Hunt held positions for BG Goodrich Landing Gear Division, MTD Products, and the City of Parma Heights. Hunt received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with an emphasis in Management Labor Relations from Cleveland State University.

Hunt lives by the principle, of “firm, fair and consistent.” This philosophy has produced a successful evolution from Human Resources to Safety Management to Compliance.
