Elizabeth Brathwaite

Elizabeth Brathwaite, MSW, is an experienced social worker currently employed at CVHCare and the Contra Costa County Library since 2021. Previously, Elizabeth served as a school counselor at Mt. Diablo Unified School District from 2016 to 2021 and worked as a school counselor substitute at San Ramon Valley Unified School District from 2014 to 2016, managing large caseloads while providing crisis intervention and counseling. Elizabeth's extensive background also includes roles as a medical social worker in various healthcare settings, including Kaiser Permanente Medical Center and Alta Bates Hospital, where services encompassed psychosocial evaluations and crisis counseling. Elizabeth holds a Master of Social Work degree from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education/Dance from San Francisco State University.
