Linda Jacobs

Linda Jacobs has a diverse range of work experience in various nonprofit organizations and community initiatives. Linda started their career in 1994 as the Director of Development and Public Affairs at Planned Parenthood Marin, Sonoma, Mendocino. Linda then moved on to become the Executive Director of the Mill Valley Chamber of Commerce from 1995 to 2002. In 2002, Linda joined the Marin County School to Career Partnership as a Board Member, and also began their involvement with the Center for Volunteer & Nonprofit Leadership, first as a consultant and later as the CEO and Executive Transition Consultant.

Throughout their career, Linda has remained active in community leadership and volunteerism. Linda has served on the boards of various organizations, including the Marin Economic Forum, the California Association of Nonprofits, the American Red Cross Marin County Leadership Council, and the Marin Interagency Disaster Coalition. With over two decades of experience, Linda has developed expertise in nonprofit management, executive transition, board development, and volunteer matching and management.

Linda Jacobs obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Fine Arts/Art History from the University of South Florida from 1974 to 1977. Prior to that, they attended Miami Coral Park High School from 1969 to 1973. Linda also holds additional certifications in Dare to Lead Training, Accredited Chamber Executive (A.C.E.), and a US Chamber of Commerce Certificate in Organization Management.
