Gordon Sprewell

Mr. Sprewell has spent more than three decades managing construction programs and projects, including some of the most complex affordable housing development initiatives undertaken in the country. He currently provides development and capital fund advisory services to multiple housing authorities including the City of East St. Louis Housing Authority and the Lucas Metropolitan Housing Authority assisting with RAD conversion, mixed-finance development, and over $8 million in annual capital fund grants.

Before coming to CVR, Mr. Sprewell served as an executive for one of the nation’s most successful affordable housing developers. Mr. Sprewell first became involved in affordable housing development in the late 1990s, when he served as the Engagement Manager of a consulting firm hired by the Atlanta Housing Authority, where he was extensively involved with the pre-development activity for numerous revitalization initiatives. He also had a rewarding and challenging career as a civil engineer in the United States Air Force.

Mr. Sprewell received a bachelor’s degree from Southern Polytechnic State University and a master’s degree from the Air Force Institute of Technology.
