Tracey Sheffield

Ms. Sheffield has 11 years of HCV management experience, including HCV utilization, SEMAP certifications, program assessments, training, direct program management, and technology implementations. She has overseen five waiting list openings, the largest being successfully receiving 187,000 applications over a two-week period for the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles.

She served or is serving as Project Director for various technical assistance projects, including the Municipality of San Juan, Charlotte Housing Authority, Spartanburg Housing Authority, Montgomery Housing Authority, and Annapolis Housing Authority. In addition, she served on HCV program assessment teams for agencies including the Municipality of San Juan, Newark Housing Authority, Housing Authority of Bergen County, Virginia Beach Housing Authority, and East Chicago Housing Authority.

Prior to joining CVR, Ms. Sheffield acted as Utilization and Reporting Supervisor for the Housing Authority of DeKalb County after successfully managing 11 Project-Based Contracts and turning around an inefficient HAP Contracts Department. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences (emphasis in Housing) from the University of Georgia and is NAHRO certified.
