Robert Deaton

Robert Deaton is a seasoned professional in instrumentation and control system design, currently serving as a Senior Instrument Designer and SmartPlant Instrument Administrator at CVR Energy, Inc. since May 2015. Previously held the role of Senior I&E Designer at Polaris Engineering + Construction, where responsibilities included designing instrument and control systems for petrochemical plants. Robert also contributed as a Principle Designer for Combustion Technology LLC, focusing on automation and control systems, and as a Senior Instrument Designer at CH2M HILL, where initiatives included developing a training program and leading various design projects. Additional experience includes work as a Control System Designer at Powerwave Engineering and as an I&E designer at James River Corporation. Robert's education includes training at J.M. Perry Institute of Technology and completion of high school at Lake Oswego High School.
