Erik Widman

Erik Widman, Ph.D., currently serves as Lead Director of Machine Learning Engineering at CVS Health, focusing on building a large-scale RAG system for knowledge management and developing a data lakehouse for productivity insights. As an Adjunct Professor in the MBAi Program at Northwestern University, Erik created a comprehensive data engineering curriculum. Previous experience includes leading AI product management at HelloFresh, where Erik significantly increased revenue and reduced engineering time through MLOps innovations. Erik's background also encompasses roles at Accenture, Solstice, and KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where expertise in AI, product management, and medical technology was established. Educational credentials include Ph.D. degrees from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Karolinska Institutet, alongside a Master’s from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor's from Western Michigan University.
