Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Vice President of Investment Strategy & Capital Markets at Interstate Hotels & Resorts, where they played a vital role in the company's consolidation strategy and growth initiatives. James also served as the Vice President of Investments at Thayer Lodging, Brookfield Hotel Properties, where they evaluated strategic investments and led the privatization analysis of several lodging companies.
